Jvm architecture

Class loader subsystem:

      The class loader subsystem will take .class file as the input and perform the following operations:

  a.It will load the .class file into the JVM's  memory.

  b.Before loading the .class file,it will verify whether the byte code instructions are valid or not with the help of byte code verifier.

 c.If the byte code instructions are validthen it will load a byte code instruction into different areas of the jvm called runtime data areas

OPERATORS:

            Any symbol that performs an operation is called an Operator.

OPERANDS:

            The values on which Opearation  performed is called an Operand.

                     Example:A+B   here A & B are operands '+' is Operator

      Based on the no. of operands ,the operators are classified into the following categories.

   1.UNARY OPERATORS: These operators will perform operations on a single operand.
   2.BINARY OPERATORS:These operators will perform operations on two operands.
   3.TERNARY OPERATORS:These operators will perform operations on three operands.

           1.JSE(java standard edition)

           2.JEE(java enterprise edition)

           3.JME(java micro/mobile edition)

1.JSE: This edition can be used for developing standalone software.

2.JEE:This edition can be used for developing web based software.

3.JME: This edition can be used for developing applications for mobile devices wireless devices or embedded controllers(remote) where memory is less (limited).

   1. PROGRAM: The program is a set of instructions that are executed by a machine to reduce the burden of a user.

   

   2.SOFTWARE: A software is a set of programs which can perform multiple tasks.

     The softwares are classified into two types.They are    1.System Software

                           2.Application Software

1.SYSTEM SOFTWARE: It is desined to interact or communicate with the hardware devices to make them work are called as system software.

   These softwares are generally developed in languages like C,C++,etc.,

2.APPLICATION SOFTWARE: It is desined to do business,provide entertainment,generate reports,store data,do calculations,etc., are called as Application Software.

    These softwares are generally developed in languages like java, .Net etc.,

     The application softwares are further classified into two types.They are

     1.Stand Alone Software

     2.Web Based Software

1.STAND ALONE SOFTWARE: The Softwares which can execute in the context of a single machine are called as Stand Alone Software.

  Ex:games,Media player,MS office etc.,

2.WEB BASED SOFTWARE: The softtwares that can execute on any machine in the context of a browser are called as web based software.

   Ex:Gmail,google etc.,
